This is the future that Silicon Valley wants: one in which Big Tech CEOs pocket billions of dollars in profit while Americans struggle to find work and put food on the table for their families.

Protecting Kids

Big Tech is worsening America’s mental health and loneliness epidemic. Stories of teens and young adults committing suicide and experiencing psychosis after talking to chatbots and reports of Big Tech’s lack of transparency guidelines are capturing the American people’s attention. These stories are just the tip of the iceberg if Big Tech gets their way in a future in which states can’t protect their people – and future ones will only be more devastating.

Disinformation and Free Speech

What is real? AI “slop” has flooded the internet, making Americans unable to discern fact from fiction. This disinformation drowns out the facts and opinions of everyday Americans exercising their right to free speech. States have begun passing laws to combat disinformation, specifically in elections, in order to protect Americans. If those laws are erased, the country will be more prone to the spread of false information in its discourse. Big Tech will only profit off of Americans’ confusion – especially as it pours hundreds of millions of dollars into our elections.
